Les profilés temporels perçus dans les œuvres vidéomusicales, une pratique expérimentale en co-construction.

Abstract : In the 1990s, a new musical practice appeared, whose purpose was an artistic production which the composer Jean Piché defines as " combining music and moving image in a unified sensory expression" and that, after him, we call videomusic. How are we to understand and under what conditions could we describe this relation resulting in the unification of this sensory expression? Those are the questions that appear of central importance to the composer as to the musicologist. In order to be able to propose elements of response to these questions, I hosted a research workshop at the laboratory Musique et Informatique de Marseille (MIM), in order to allow the community of people sharing this experience, to discuss in a documented, critical and contradictory way.
