Les marges du Bassin parisien, des périphéries durablement fragiles : approches méthodologiques des dynamiques de déclin

Abstract : The Paris basin is a polarised geographic system with an important centre-periphery divide. Its diachronic analysis indicates that the decline of the marches, which started in the sixties, continues today in a way revealing geographic as well as historic continuities. Today as in the past, this decline can be attributed to the agriculture and industry economic sectors. Moreover, in the "régions" of the Paris basin, dynamic combinations associating an economic evolution typology and demographic mutations can be identified using multi-variable analyses.
