L'ENSEIGNEMENT DU FAIT RELIGIEUX ET LA RECHERCHE DIDACTIQUE HISTORIQUE

Abstract : The secularization of French society accompanied by the secularization of the school since the 19th century excludes religions from teaching (as sets of beliefs, cults, rites) but makes them an object of study) and an object of teaching (religious facts, introduced in 2002 as such). To ask the question of the references to be mobilized in research on the teaching of religious facts is to consider the didactics of history as a field of research on the means of understanding the didactic work of the teacher and its effects on learning. For this reason, the epistemological point of view on knowledge and activities is a lever to think study and teaching in research on the teaching of religious facts in France through its actors (institution, teachers, students).
