Abstract : A part of the contemporary prose attempts to question the limits of the sentence. This article studies how the typographic dash suspends and then continues the sentence in three monologues. Their common characteristic is to be constituted of a single sentence. Carried by the imagination of a flow, the dash marks the tension between momentary textual suspension and discursive progression which resists the stop of the point.
