La question de la subjectivité dans le processus de réécriture entre langue classique et langue vernaculaire dans la Chine prémoderne : À partir des récits de suicide

Abstract : Chinese stories in vernacular language are often based on earlier texts written in the classical language. Between these two aspects of the written Chinese language, there are rewriting operations that can be described in terms of "intralingual translation". Authors of fictional narratives have made extensive use of such processes because they present particular qualities that they have been looking for. The presentation presents the main characteristics of this manner of story-writing. It takes as an illustration stories sharing the theme of suicide.
