L’analyse de l’activité pour concevoir des outils d’actimétrie permettant un travail et des usages raisonnés

Abstract : This paper reports on a study commissioned by computer researchers and a industrial, equipment manufacturer, engaged in the development of new actimetry tools. Starting from a request concerning the counting of biomechanical stresses and concerns regarding impacts of these tools, the analysis of the activity made it possible to associate the meaning of the actors' activities to the project concerned. Activity analysis was a means to support design decisions that integrated work activities. Several action registers on the project have been ensured: (1) address technological concerns by ensuring a cross-referenced analysis of tool performance and gesture analysis; (2) formalizing the meaning of the activity to go beyond a reading in terms of body segment dynamics and enrich the modalities to take into account comfort zones; (3) go beyond the notion of "technical action" structuring the design standard, to link margin construction strategies to gestures and postural constraints temporal manoeuvres and the application of skills during the action in response to hazards during the activity; (4) propose areas of reflection for design beyond the study period.
