Near-infrared emitting ytterbium metal–organic frameworks with tunable excitation properties

Abstract : The design of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) incorporating near-infrared emitting ytterbium cations and organic sensitizers allows for the preparation of new materials with tunable and enhanced photophysical properties.
