Alinhamento entre Ontologias de Topo e de Dominio Usando WordNet

Matching domain and top-level ontologies is an important task but still an open problem in the ontology matching field, particularly due to their different levels of abstraction. In this paper we propose an approach for matching domain and top ontologies that exploits the background knowledge from WordNet as an intermediate layer. We evaluate our approach using two well-known top-level ontologies, namely DOLCE and SUMO, and one domain ontology from the OAEI conference data set.
