Tank Bromeliads : aquatic life at the heart of plants

Abstract : The interlocking leaves of tank bromeliads are home to small but genuine aquatic ecosystems. These microworlds are used by researchers as models to test hypotheses, especially in experimental studies simulating the effects of climate change.
