Faire l’autruche ou l’idiot rationnel ? De l’attitude la plus sage à adopter face aux prédictions proposées par la médecine génomique

Abstract : ‘‘Personalized medicine’’ is based on predictions. His hope is that thanks to a better understanding of genetic and environmental factors that predispose each individual to develop specific pathologies, everyone will stay in good health as long as possible. This paper explores the meaning of the concept of prediction and raises the problem of the moral value of the knowledge of genetic predispositions. What should we know, and why?
