Résumé

There are still many assumptions in the calculation of temperature using infrared cameras, some of which who aredependent on the shape of the observed object and its orientation with the camera. In this paper we address temperaturevariation occurring as a result of emissivity variance caused by change in the observation angle of an observed object. The camera-object orientation is retrieved by means of 3D reconstruction via a stereo NIR camera rig, which doubles asa redundant thermography system. Examples are given that show the effect of temperature variation with the observationangle variations. We then propose a method for using a modified emissivity measurement method to correct temperaturemeasurement errors dependent on the observation angle.
