Morphological modeling of cement based materials and hydration process

Abstract : In this work we present a new morphological model for heterogeneous media that is well suited for cement based materials. The main application addressed here is a model for the evolution cement paste with respect to the hydration degree, containing only anhydrous cement, water, and hydrated products. Secondly, those morphologies are projected on FE trusses, which allow us to predict the evolution of any chosen material characteristic (elastic properties and diffusivity) with the evolution of the hydration degree.
