Kinetics of helium-3 laser optical pumping

Abstract : We report on optical pumping experiments in helium-3 using a new broad-band, all-fiber laser at 1083 nm. The kinetics of polarization build-up are compared to the numerical results of an appropriate model. Effects of laser power and bandwidth are discussed.
