Intra-Quantum Signal Acquisition Using Software Defined Radios

Abstract : This paper discusses a new required resolution of an Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) for the simultaneous acquisition of two single tone signals using Software Defined Radios (SDR). This issue was previously studied in the case of single tone signals. The main idea is to propose a new method to evaluate the resolution which fulfils a certain Dynamic Range in the case of multiple signals. Experimental results confirm our previous simulations and show we are able to acquire an intra-quantum signal due to the contribution of a stronger transmission which make it cross the quantum levels.
