Electromagnetic field in 3 dimensionnal compact hyperbolic manifolds

Abstract : Compact three dimensional spaces of constant curvature without border can be considered as cavities for free electromagnetic fields. For space-times of the form : t ⊗ staticspace , this note shows that the electromagnetic field spectrum is the same as the Laplacian eigenvalue spectrum of a scalar field in those spaces.
