EFFET DE LA FREQUENCE SUR L'EVOLUTION DU FROTTEMENT ARGILE-PIEU SOUS GRANDS NOMBRES DE CYCLES (10^5 cycles)

Abstract : The influence of loading frequency on the evolution of local clay-pile shaft friction, as measured on an instrumented pile-probe tested in saturated clay specimens is studied. Results of displacement-controlled cyclic axial loading tests show, for the same initial state of soil and the same loading parameters, that the higher the frequency value, the greater the friction degradation.
