Les expériences urbaines d’écologie industrielle en Europe du Nord : vers quelles innovations ?

Abstract : Since its onset in the 1970s, industrial ecology has been regarded as a source of deep transformation in industrial practices with regard to the natural environment, taking into account the limited character of natural resources and the damage caused by pollution. Its application is based on different principles, linked in particular to the availability of flows, to private actors strategies and to public actors support. In this paper, we focus on a few urban industrial ecological approaches in the Nordic countries, highlighting the importance of environmental issues, and the fact these approaches are a source of technological and organizational innovation.
