Le nymphée de la Larissa à Argos : reconstitution théorique et virtuelle

Abstract : The nymphaeum of Larissa, at outlet of the northern aqueduct, is situated at the west edge of the town of Argos. It has been discovered in the begining of the the twentieth century, and studied in the nineteen eighties ; a new analysis allows us to present a computer-generated restitution. A terrace is developping in front of the nymphaeum, which has been settled in a natural enrockment ; two connected tanks are protected by a vault. The facade shows four columns supporting a complex entablature ; this is the most hypothetical part of the restitution.
