Study of structural changes of magnetite cycling material during chemical looping for hydrogen production from bio-ethanol

Abstract : Magnetite samples have been synthesized and studied as cycling materials in a chemical loop process for H2 production from ethanol and water. Surface and structural changes during the process were characterized by various techniques such as X-ray diffraction, XPS, and Mössbauer spectroscopy to evidence the cycling process and understand the material deactivation.
