HistVV: Die Leipziger Vorlesungsdatenbank 1814/15–1914

Abstract : This article describes a project in which the lecture catalogues of one of the largest German universities at the time were digitised and marked-up semantically. For the 200 semesters between 1814/15 and 1914, a full-text search and a complete catalogue of lecturers are now available. This gives new impetus to historiographical research. The software developed during the project can also be used for other universities and periods.
