L'interdisciplinarité en partage : collaborer pour innover : Le projet «Dessins de dieux»

Abstract : This contribution reveals the dual challenge of interdisciplinary research, which lies in a complementary way in the advancement of the dialogue between disciplines and in the co-production of new methods and techniques of analysis. Through a meta-analysis of an interdisciplinary and multicultural research project on children’s representations of supernatural agents (ie. figures of ‘gods’), we study the epistemological and methodological stakes that arise when several disciplinary approaches are summoned for the processing, analysis and interpretation of a corpus of digitized children drawings. Based on participant observation, documentation and self-reflexivity of the researchers involved in the project, we show how the interdisciplinary process is set up, with its points of convergence, its potentialities but also its difficulties with regard to various epistemic and cultural horizons.
