Tourisme et chemins de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle en France : pratiques, acteurs et gouvernance du bien culturel

Abstract : Tourism and routes of Santiago de Compostela in France: practices, stakeholders and governance of the cultural property. From the Pilgrim image to the more recent practices of the walkers, The Santiago de Compostela routes constitute a cultural resource which is constantly reinterpreted. The increase of the actors around this phenomenon forces to rethink partnership around this cultural property listed in the UNESCO world heritage and which also constitutes a complex tourist object. This reflection suggests questioning from the deciphering of actors’ system present in the French context, the challenges of the partnership share around the governance of this cultural property.
