Extension de la méthode du bi-potentiel à l'analyse des problèmes d'impact

Abstract : The bi-potential method has been successfully applied for the modeling of frictional contact problems in static cases. This paper presents the extension of this method for dynamic analysis of impact problems. A first order algorithm is applied for the numerical integration of the time-discretized equation of motion. The solution algorithm is simple and efficient. In order to validate the proposed method, numerical results for a longitudinal impact between two elastic bars are presented.
