Communautés de pratiques en ligne : e-learning informel et autoformation non intentionnelle

Abstract : Publications about "e-learning" mainly concern tools designed for situations we should call "e-teaching". In this paper, the author is interested in activities that would correspond more to the qualification of informal e-learning; he focuses on people who train themselves online, not intentionally but as an indirect consequence of their willingness to act or solve problems in their leisure time or in their daily life. Three cases show that it is this regime that is observed with so-called "do it yourself" or "participatory science" online activities. These activities are very relevent opportunities to learn ; they induce opportunities of reflexivity in connection with the constitution of e-communities of practices.
