Comparaison de modèles numériques 2D d'une bobine couplée à un circuit électrique utilisée pour l’aimantation pulsée d’un supraconducteur massif

Abstract : The behavior of HTS material brings difficulties to predict trapped magnetic field during Pulsed Field Magnetization (PFM), especially with coupling to an electrical circuit. Additionally, the HTS bulk is described by a strong non-linear power law and using an A formulation leads to poor convergence and long computing times. Contrarily to the A approach, H formulation contains good features for solving eddy current problems like PFM process, but it cannot be easily coupled with the electrical equations involved in such problem. Therefore, it is necessary to define additional equations for the magnetic flux. Such constraints lead combining two formulations, i.e. A and H, with suitable conditions on their common boundary. Unfortunately, this solution is not easy to implement in FEM software and still remains under investigation. As a conclusion, I would like to not only present the results of the magnetization process of an YBCO pellet in a 2D axisymmetric problem but also show the comparison of computing time for different modeling strategies. The presented output will provide useful information to design advanced applications that require magnetized HTS bulks.
