Difficultés associées et scolarisation des enfants dyslexiques

Abstract : Dyslexia is a well-known learning disorder for teachers and many researches focus on it. Epidemiological studies show that this developmental disorder appears most of the time in combination with other difficulties or pathological conditions (comorbidity). This article provides a review of commonly reported problems in children with dyslexia in area other than reading : written expression, mathematic, attention problems or movement difficulties. Beyond the theoretical implications of this finding, the frequency of difficulties associated with dyslexia calls for caution and taking into account the diversity of children's profiles to best adapt their schooling as part of the French school plan PAP (Plan d'accompagnement personnalisé).
