Un référenctel pour la céramique bordelaise du Xe au XVe siècle à partir des fouilles d'habitat

Abstract : This research initiatecl with the study of the medieval ceramics found on seven archeological excavation sites in Bordeaux : a total of 92552 fragments depositecl in 532 stratigrafical levels. The morphological and technological criteria usecl in the treatement of this fragments in relation to other known facteurs, permitted the establishment of a typo-chronology which statistical studies precisely clarilïed. The apprehension of the evolution of forms, the phenomenes of diversification and the emergence of differents fonctions ensued from these studies. Analyses of the composition of the earthenware confirmecl the determination of its origin. This allowed an approach to society from a point of view based on the consumption and the commercialisation of the different elements.
