Abstract Through the notion of heterotopy and the modalities of functioning such as Michel Foucault presents them in the text " des espaces autres " (1994), this text presents a set of works in social sciences on the raves and techno music. In a second time, in this model of interpretation which takes these spaces as data to be interpreted and to be returned to social mechanisms, a model is advanced, where the reality of these spaces is the product of the commitments of the actors. In a third time some characteristic aspects of electronic musics such as the listening and the creation process are approached in the light of the work of François Jullien who operates a " recategorization " from the Chinese thinking and its heterotopic position with regard to the European thought.

A travers la notion d'hétérotopie et ses modalités de fonctionnement telles que les présentent Michel Foucault dans le texte « des espaces autres » (1994), ce texte présente un ensemble de travaux en sciences sociales sur les raves et la musique techno. Dans un deuxième temps, à ce modèle constatif qui prend ces espaces comme données à interpréter et à ramener à des mécanismes sociaux, un modèle performatif est avancé, où la réalité de ces espaces est le produit des engagements des acteurs. Dans un troisième temps quelques aspects caractéristiques des musiques électroniques comme l'écoute et le processus de création sont abordés à la lumière du travail de recatégorisation qu'opère François Jullien à partir de la pensée chinoise et de sa position hétérotopique par rapport à la pensée européenne.
