Synthesis and electrochemical characteristics of a donor-acceptor porphyrinate rotor mounted on a naphthalocyaninato europium complex

A heteroleptic porphyrinate phthalocyaninate donor-acceptor europium doubledecker complex was synthesized. The UV-Vis spectral properties and cyclic voltammetry of the compound were investigated and compared to model compounds.
