Mythes et Réalité Virtuelle: le cas d'Alexandrie

Abstract : Some 2300 years after its foundation, the Ptolemaic capital of Egypt continues to fascinate the Western world of today – no doubt due to mists of mystery which surround the myths associated with its name. Basing itself on the few conserved remains, virtual archeology is attempting now to recreate this ancient city whose splendors inspired nostalgia and melancholy in the poets of the XXth century.
