Vérité et mensonge dans la poésie lyrique chinoise : - Quand le poète s'exprime par une voix de femme 中國文學史上的“思婦詩"

Abstract : While the first lesson learned by a Chinese scholar is that a poetic work should convey what his author feels, one can legitimately wonder why some of them prefer using a woman’s voice, a wide-spread practice especially in the Chinese Early Middle Ages. The present study tries to look into the mechanism of this approach by analysing the motivation of these authors, and the way this kind of poetry is produced. We try to show that the popular origin of poetry and its prestige make it possible, while the social mode of production and the spirit of the age also play an important part.
