Partir, rester, habiter : le projet migratoire dans la littérature exilaire

Abstract : The “migration project”, which has been absent from the works on migration for a long time, now appears as a tool that is increasingly mobilized in the specialized literature. However, it doesn’t provide any reflection on its uses. By analyzing a corpus of literary writings on migrations, this paper aims to propose some theoretical and methodological orientations which allow to specify its uses and to think about its contributions. Thus, it becomes relevant to use this concept in order to bring back into analysis the contextual elements whose explanatory scope is rarely taken into account. It becomes then possible to envisage the migration path as an activity whose direction is not given a priori but is being established through interaction with the environment in which the individual evolves.
