Polymères et interactions avec les milieux biologiques

Abstract : Interactions of polymers with the biological environments Polymers have gradually entered into the composition of biomaterials or drug formulations with respect to their biocompatible and biodegradable features, but also to their structural versatility. A new era in the biomedical fields has nevertheless begun, where polymers are no longer passive components but actors that interact directly with the biological environments. This article covers the cases of polymers that are intrinsically bioactive, but also those coupled to ligands or biomolecules, or responding to endo-or exogenous stimuli. Then a new approach to the synthesis of polymers with high added value by biotechnology is mentioned.
