This technical note describes the use of CROP-VGT software (elaborated by S. Griguolo, University of Venice, Itlay), applied to the automatic extraction of sub-images from NDVI temporal series of images of the African continent issued from SPOT-VEGETATION sensor. Python scripts have been produced to supervise the procedure and to facilitate the use of WINDISP software for further processing of time series of extracted NDVI images.

On décrit l'utilisation du logiciel CROP-VGT, mis au point par S. Griguolo (Université de Venise, Italie), et plus particulièrement l'automatisation de la procédure pour extraire des sous-images à partir des données NDVI du capteur SPOT-VEGETATION sur le continent africain. Des scripts Python ont été réalisés pour contrôler la procédure et faciliter l'utilisation du logiciel WINDISP pour un traitement ultérieur des séries temporelles d'images extraites.
