Moi, petite entreprise. Impacts individuels et collectifs de la diffusion de l’auto-entrepreneuriat

Abstract : What does the spread of self-employment imply both individually and collectively? This article analyzes the French “auto-entrepreneur” regime as a workaround for the wage system that participates in the destruction of the social model. Bypassing the wage system is one of the goals of the political advocators of the “auto-entrepreneur” regime, as well as being the result of employers’ strategies to outsource the workforce. The device enjoins autonomy, especially with regard to the working classes. It thus functions as a new way of domination based on self-discipline and the undermining of collective structures.
