Role of viscoelastic behavior of pressure-sensitive adhesives in the course of bonding and debonding processes.
Résumé
A review on the general features of the relationships between rheol. and adherence properties and how a better understanding of these features can be used to improve pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) formulations for a wide range of applications. Topics discussed include viscoelastic properties of PSAs and adherence performance, some models of debonding, and measurement of viscoelastic properties of soft polymers. [on SciFinder(R)]
