The H.E.S.S. Galactic plane survey poster

We present a high-resolution image of the H.E.S.S. (High Energy Stereoscopic System) Galactic plane survey (HGPS) with all 77 very-high-energy (E > 0.1 TeV) γ-ray sources from the HGPS catalog labeled. Figures illustrating the survey region, exposure and sensitivity will be shown, as well as the distribution of sources in Galactic latitude, a summary of the VHE source identifications, and an illustration of catalog construction procedure. This poster is complementary to the talk “The H.E.S.S. Galactic plane survey” (Deil et al.). You are kindly invited to come and discuss any sources present in the HGPS you may be interested in, as well as to get more information on the content and usage of the survey significance, flux and upper limit maps and source catalog in FITS format which will be distributed along with the forthcoming HGPS journal paper.
