In the Department of Music at the University of Paris 8, innovative tools and methods to teach music and signal processing are at the centre of our concerns, as teachers, researchers, and creators. In the following collectively written text, after a focus on the academic context and our recent activities, we will present our new project, called MUSICOLL. It is centered on collaborative and portable real time music in the context of teaching and creating sound, music, computer and music sciences and methodologies.
