Resonances in positron scattering on a supercritical nucleus and spontaneous production of e+ e- pairs

Abstract : Solving the Dirac equation for a positron in the Coulomb field of a nucleus with Z > Zcr, we observe (confirm) the resonance dependence of the scattering phase $\delta_\kappa$ on the energy $\epsilon_p$ of the positron. A physical interpretation of these resonances is suggested.
