Ce que les élèves voient et disent du corps de leur enseignant. Analyse multimodale de leur discours

Abstract : This contribution aims to study the multimodal discourse produced by students on the gestures and proxemics of their French teachers. In this perspective, filmed heteroconfrontation interviews were organized with eight high school students in order to access learning thinking. The collected corpus was analyzed using the tools of interactive discourse analysis as well as the notion of replay developed by anthropologist Marcel Jousse. The results, which are based on the analysis of learners' speeches and meta-testuality, present different pedagogical functions of proxemia and teaching gestures. Following these results, we propose a reflection on the interest of heteroconfrontation interviews as an object of research and teacher training.
