Récupération d'énergie dans la bande RFID UHF pour capteurs connectés

Abstract : Nowadays, the stock management using RFID UHF system is a common practice. It allows time saving and better visibility during all the stages of the supply chain. In some sectors, simple identification of the tracked things can suffice to the stocks management. However, in other sectors, more information about the tracked item could be required. In order to realize and communicate this kind of measures sensors managed by microcontroller may be integrated to the RFID system. In that case a source of energy is unavoidable. The RFID system we developed is a passive technology, which integrates an RF harvester with the aim to provide energy to the connected sensor in order to perform the required measures. The RF energy comes from RFID UHF readers operating in accordance with the ISO 18000-6c standard, in the UHF band 865.5 MHz – 868.5 MHz. In this article, we present the architecture of the RF harvester system and the optimization study of the multiplier and the matching network.
