Modélisation multidomaine du comportement magnéto-mécanique

Abstract : The first elements of a work concerning the non-destructive testing of materials are presented hereafter. The objective is to propose magnetic methods to quantify the thermo-metallurgico-mechanical state of a material. Indeed, it is now well known that the magnetic behavior of ferromagnetic material is sensitive to the microstructural state and / or application of a mechanical stress. The inverse identification remains a major challenge. We propose first a coupled magneto-mechanical modeling ; its simplicity allows the procedure of inverse identification. Measurements of magnetic and magnetostrictive behavior of pure iron under uniaxial mechanical loading are then presented. Once the few parameters of the model are identified for this material, model and experiment are compared.
