Variabilité spatio-temporelle des pics de PM10 selon les conditions météorologiques dans la région parisienne de 2007 à 2009

Abstract : High concentrations of particles smaller than 10 microns (PM10) are currently one of the pollutants of greatest risk to the health of the population in Ile de France. To characterize the variability of these pollutant concentrations, hourly and daily data from 14 stations of the Airparif network (traffic, urban, suburban and rural) were analyzed and correlated with weather data and daily schedules of two stations in Paris area (2007-2009). The analysis showed a positive relationship between the PM10 levels, the proximity of traffic and wind speed. The peaks of pollution are common in Ile de France when wind speed is lower than 1.5 m/s.
