Effervescence contemporaine des propositions « d’éducations à… » Regard rétrospectif pour le tournant curriculaire à venir

Abstract : In order to understand the current explosion of the « educating for… », the paper presents an historical overview of their genesis and their development during the 20th century. In particular, it focuses specifically on the existence and the disappearance of home economics, a school subject designed such as an educating for the familial responsi-bility. This retrospective analysis reveals the rupture of 1970s marked by the genesis of school disciplines and their alignment on the dominant format of male secondary schooling with the export of educative concerns previously included within contents of primary school type. The project of their future development seems to require the extension of purposes of school disciplines and thus an important transformation of the curriculum model and of the formal education model.
