Zeggen dat iets niet bestaat: bestaat daar een speciale constructie voor?

Abstract : Negative existence is special. Just because Western European languages lack a dedicated general construction for it, this doesn't mean that negative existential sentences in Dutch, English, French or German behave just like positive ones or that there aren't any negative existential sentences without a positive counterpart -- there isn't a shadow of a doubt about that.
