La cohomologie des espaces de Lubin-Tate est libre
Résumé
The principal result of this work is the freeness in the $ \overline{\mathbb{Z}}_l$-cohomology of the Lubin-Tate
tower. The strategy is of global nature and relies on studying the complexe of
nearby cycles of some Shimura varieties of Kottwitz-Harris-Taylor types. We use the constructions
on the filtrations of stratification of a free perverse sheaf and we prove that applied to
the extension by zero of Harris-Taylor local systems as well to the perverse sheaf of nearby cycles,
these constructions are \og !-saturated \fg, which means that all the cokernels of the adjunction
morphisms $j_!j^* \rightarrow Id$ under consideration, are torsion-free.
Le résultat principal de ce travail est l'absence de torsion dans la $\overline{\mathbb{Z}}_{l}$-cohomologie de la tour de
Lubin-Tate. La stratégie est globale et repose sur l'étude du complexe des
cycles évanescents de certaines variétés de Shimura de type Kottwitz-Harris-Taylor. Nous reprenons
les constructions sur les filtrations de stratification d'un faisceau pervers libre
et nous montrons, qu'appliquées aux extensions par zéro des systèmes locaux d'Harris-Taylor ainsi
qu'au faisceau pervers des cycles évanescents, ces constructions sont \og !-saturées \fg, i.e.
tous les conoyaux des morphismes d'adjonction $j_!j^* \rightarrow Id$ considérés, sont sans torsion.
