Collatz conjecture The trivial cycle is unique (because a Collatz sequence that becomes periodic converges)

Abstract : A Collatz sequence that is periodic after a certain rank reaches the value 1 (or converges). Therefore the trivial cycle is unique, and a Collatz sequence that has an upper bound becomes periodic, and then converges.
