Conclusions

Abstract : Conclusions of the proceedings of a workshop on coin circulation in the countryside of Northern and Eastern Gaul, from the end of the Iron Age to Late Antiquity. 6 points are discussed: collection of data; representativeness of data; conceptual differences between monetisation and monetarisation (mostly relevant in French); coin production in the countryside; gold coins in the countryside; evolution of coin circulation in the countryside from the Iron Age to Late Antiquity.
