La bande-dessinée espagnole, un art visuel au service de la mémoire. "El arte de volar" de Antonio Altarriba et "36-39, Malos tiempos" de Carlos Giménez

Abstract :

El arte de volar by Antonio Altarriba and 36-39 : Malos Tiempos by Carlos Giménez describe the daily life of many Spaniards during the Civil War and under the Nationalist government with a narrative form which isn’t much developed in Spain-the comic strip. Through the eyes of Antonio Altarriba’s father or those of Marcelino, we discover the fears and frustrations of thousands of anonymous people who could not or would not speak for a very long time. These books represent a new fight against oblivion.
