« Oscar Wilde as a Reader of W. K. Clifford »

Abstract : This presentation is devoted to exploring Oscar Wilde's debt to mathematician and philosopher W. K. Clifford's 'The Ethics of Belief'. Wilde read Clifford while in Oxford and concurred with his ethics in "The Portrait of Mr W. H" (1889)
